Chris and the team were fantastic. After a slick removal from Bovey Tracey my items were stored for 9 months, nothing was damaged after inspection on delivery to Saltash. Chris and his fantastic team helped my mother out last minute just before Christmas. They were superb. So professional, kind and friendly. It was a tough move (Mum has mobility issues and it was a down size she wasn't keen to do) but they handled the situation so well. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thanks guys!

Let’s face it, moving house is a drama. Using Sigma reduced that drama. From initially taking some photos of what needed to be moved from A to B, though the professional packing and van securing our stuff, to most importantly, leaving items in the right room in the right place made it easy (almost to the point where I felt I should be mucking in and helping). I couldn’t fault the service at all. Obviously I’m not aiming to move again soon, but if you are going through that process, this team will destress the whole experience. If you are thinking of hiring a van and suggesting to friends to help you move, don’t bother; using Sigma is the wiser choice.
Chris and his team, James, Harry and Dad were brilliant carrying out our house removal this week in the most atrocious weather conditions! It was a challenging day all round but the team dug deep and got us out of the old house and into the new house seamlessly and with good humour. We ended up in a very stressful, last minute exchange with next day completion, situation but luckily we had Sigma Removals to help. Chris was brilliant and extremely patient leading up to the move which had to be organised with very little notice. The guys he employs are all great, very friendly but always professional. Great team, moved house for us on the weekend across Devon, everything was very well packed and looked after. The team took the time to come out beforehand to make sure exactly how many vans the Jon would require rather than just basing it of the number of bedrooms.

Chris and his team are just brilliant, they managed a challenging move with professionalism, humour, sheer hard work, and grace. Every member of the team had a specific role and was great at it. Chris is a master leader - he planned and managed everything and was super-responsive when we had a hold-up that felt like a crisis until he found a smart way through it. He briefed me on the day how the move would work and the team of five accomplished the project like clockwork. They are the nicest guys - polite, good-humoured, unflappable and totally reliable. Chris and his team helped us move all the way from Devon to the Scottish Highlands last week. From the first contact to delivering our things the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They moved us during the heatwave and never complained - it must have been very hard work. Chris meticulously planned the move and kept in contact with us leading up to it. I also found the packing materials to be very good quality. 100% recommend!

Great attention to detail and they really understand the unique needs of each job. Extremely trustworthy - they just did an unattended move for me from a property in super-prime Notting Hill where I simply gave them the keys and the furniture all arrived back to Devon in immaculate condition later that day. This was a very pleasant moving experience. I contacted Chris and Tanisha three months in advance, before my new place was finalised and the exact itinerary of the move was unclear. Tanisha is an expert in coordinating the move. She came up with the best solution for my situation. And Chris was very prompt in his communication. The entire process from the collection to the final delivery of my luggage went on well. Sigma helped us move house at the end of November, mid lockdown 2.0. Ray and Chris went above and beyond to ensure the cross country move from Wolves to Devon went off without a hitch. We have already said we would use Sigma again when the time came. Speaking to Chris prior to the move day, he was in regular communication to ensure we knew the plan and he knew the plan. This gave us confidence the day would go smoothly. He said they'd be there at 8:30, 8:30 they turned up. They were really friendly throughout and even though it's a stressful day for us, they made it easy. Thanks again guys!

What a fantastic team! Chris, you've done an amazing job putting this group of guys together. My move went incredibly smoothly despite challenging weather and a difficult access route for my large garden workshop. Sigma Removals were extremely professional and approachable throughout the process and went out of their way to ensure all our possessions ended up where we wanted them, in perfect condition. Chris and his team recently moved me from Sevenoaks to Newton Abbot including packing, taking apart and rebuilding furniture. The distance was never an issue for them and the price competitive. All the team were very polite and respectful of my belongings. I felt my valuable items were completely safe. When moving my items back in nothing was too much trouble, including offering to help carry some extra bits my step dad brought over. All my furniture was rebuilt without any issues or damage exactly where I wanted it. Overall experience: professional, respectful, friendly. Would highly recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of Chris and his wonderful team at Sigma Removals. From the initial enquiry right through to seeing all of our belongings into our new home they were fantastic. Right from the first contact I had with Chris I felt confident in our arrangements. They provided us with a bespoke service which required furniture storage for a period of time and then transport to the final destination. The team were very polite, professional and friendly and treated my property carefully and with respect. When the furniture was delivered after 7 weeks is storage it was as it was when it went in. I can honestly say that as moving house is considered one of the most stressful things, Sigma removals made it easy and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable, good value removal company. I would have no hesitation recommending this removal company or indeed using them again. I found Chris and his team to be personable, efficient and very hard-working. It was by no means an easy job - removing heavy boxes from a height restricted cellar, as well as an attic bedroom - but they made very light work of it and all with a great sense of humour. They came with two luton vans to spread the load, as the move included a huge (and heavy) collection of records and books. They were also very careful with a valuable collection of paintings, which they wrapped expertly for the journey. At the other end they dealt with the off-load into a storage facility very sensitively (as I was not well, all I did was direct operations, so that I know where things are when I come to sort them). Many thanks for a job well done...!
Sigma removals completed my home move for me last week, I Could not of been happier with the service I received. Chris the director was incredibly helpful and worked with me to build a fair price for the work he and his staff undertook, on the day My wife and I wasnt as organised as we would of hoped but Chris and his staff went above and beyond to make it a simple as possible for us . During the day our possessions were really well cared for and carefuly handled into their van . After our move was completed Chris came back to take some furniture and belongins i no longer have use for to tip for us ,once again his price was excellent value and saved me the hassle of sorting through loading my car and having to cue at the tip . I really recommend if you are considering any of Sigma removals services that you at least give them the opportunity to discuss how they can be of service im really pleased i have found a helpful company willing to go the extra mile ! .

I could not recommend Sigma enough. After a very stressful and long wait for our new home, to top it off, the day we were told to pack up our house into the removal vans, it all fell through at the very last minute. Sigma kept all of our belongings in the vans overnight in the hope of completion the next day. Every single member of the Sigma team were helpful, friendly and extremely kind towards our unique situation. Luckily the next day we completed and Sigma did everything they could to make the move as stress free and smooth as possible. We are so grateful for everything they did for us. Very impressed by the service offered by Chris and team. Starting with the survey, Chris was extremely thorough, looking at each item to be moved and working out how to pack in which vehicles. The quote was delivered promptly and agreed. Come removal day, the team turned up early and we're all introduced. All fast workers, all really nice guys very polite and friendly. The loading wasn't the easiest for them with many stairs and restricted access. A long drive and got started unloading. We had to drive up later, and the team had the only key. Chris offered to bring the key to us whatever time, 2am? No problem. Amazing service. This wasn't required but was offered which meant a lot to us. A pretty large and exhausting removal job over 3 days, delivered with good humour and the utmost courtesy all at a very fair price. What more could anyone want? Massive thanks to the Sigma team. 👍
Sigma Removals totally organised my move of over 200 miles... they came the day before the move to ensure everything was ready for the following morning. They were calm and focussed. No damage to anything on the journey. Their professionalism very much impressed me and I would not hesitate in recommending them and using them again myself in the future.

I found Chris and his team very helpful during our stressful move We lived in a top floor flat and it was really tricky to move some of the heavy and larger items but they took the challenge on and succeeded. All our furniture and belongings were carefully moved despite the difficult terrain I found Chris and his team very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much bother for them. Sigma Removals were absolutely wonderful, I am so glad I used them. I was very stressed about my move, as it is the first time I have used a moving company before, and I was very apprehensive about the whole process, from what I needed to do, to the idea of having strangers in the house (which was in absolute chaos from moving when they arrived!). I needn't have worried at all. They were very helpful at all stages of the process. When I first contacted for a quote, the costs of everything were laid out for me clearly, and when booking a date, Chris was very helpful in finding something that worked for me. They were able to provide and leave me with some packing equipment for the items I did not need them to move, but will have to move myself later, and were very understanding and happy to accommodate the slightly complicated moving arrangement I was in. When the day came, they arrived very punctually (and helpfully called me the evening before to confirm a time and make sure all was well!), and immediately got on with packing things down, taking things apart, etc. The moving day itself was the part I was most anxious about, especially as I would be alone in the house without my housemate there - but they were exceptionally polite, well mannered and helpful, and the initial anxiety of having three unknown men in the house very swiftly evaporated, as they were all very professional, polite and warm. They worked very quickly, but moved everything perfectly without the sense they were rushing. They got everything I needed to be packed or taken apart sorted, moved, and reset up in my new house within a few hours, and without any damage - even manoeuvring some large furniture up a difficult staircase perfectly. There was a great sense that Chris cared about his team and their wellbeing and professional development, and in making sure everyone was content and felt they could do as they needed to do, which made the process feel easy and pleasant. All three of the team who assisted seemed to care about the job at hand, and in making things feel relaxed and stress free, at a time when I imagine most people feel anything but relaxed! Chris was kind enough to round down the hours I paid for despite the work going a little over the hour, which I was also very pleased with. I would absolutely recommend Sigma removals to anyone who needs to move, I could not be happier with the service I received, and the price was competitive, affordable, and very worth it for the service I received. I will certainly be using them again should I need to move in the area again, and will be recommending them whole-heartedly to anyone I know looking for moving services. The entire service and moving experience (which was done in only half a day!) was truly exceptional.

I would highly recommend Sigma Removals to anyone as they took all of the stress out of the move! We recently moved home form two homes into our first home together! We exchanged late only a few days before the completion date, Sigma Removals were fantastic and really understanding about the uncertainty. On the day they turned up promptly, despite our distance from them. They collected furniture from one site and were with us with plenty of time. They communicated with us clearly about when they would arrive. When they arrived they were professional, friendly and took all of the stress out of clearing out our old home. When we arrived at our new home they could not do enough to make sure it was perfect, while we tried to decide where furniture should go. The previous owner had also left a trailer which they happily took away for us! I wish I could put 10 stars as they made a stressful day a pleasure!

Chris and the team were exceptional from start to finish. Difficult to praise Sigma removals enough. Starting with good communication and prompt notified arrival. The team were hard working, professional and wrapped all delicates . No damage was sustained at either end to the properties showing the care they took. Travelled 140 miles not 1 breakage at the other end . They were extremely polite and very, very helpful. Having moved 5 times this was by far the least stressful. Due to their courtesy and professional expertise they made this my easiest move ever . Great value and seriously nice people . I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Thank you.

Chris and Sigma Removals came highly recommended to us by some friends and did not disappoint. We had to rearrange our removal several times due to a couple of our house sales falling through, but Chris was very patient and remained flexible and accommodating throughout. When we were finally able to confirm our sale we were able to arrange our removal with Chris at a time to suit us. Chris, by the way, is incredible friendly, as are all the staff. Chris and Paul were amazing. They took great care with all our belongings and packed them all safely and professionally. I knew as soon as they arrived that we had made the right choice with how clean the van and all their equipment was. If someone takes care and pride in their own things, you know they are going to take the same care with yours. I should add that we moved from Newton Abbot to Sheffield and at no point was this an issue for them. I could not recommend Sigma Removals any higher and advise you look no further than them for your removal needs.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to move house with Sigma. The customer service by Chris and his team was outstanding from the start. I contacted Chris to quote for our move from Exeter to Bristol. Chris arranged to visit our house to provide an accurate estimate of what would be required. Communication was excellent: clear and prompt throughout. On the day every single member of the team was friendly and courteous. Despite the fact that they do this all the time, they clearly understood the significance of the day and their work for the customer. They demonstrated that they cared about doing a good job and meeting the customer’s expectations. They worked very efficiently and their extensive experience in the work was evident. Their involvement made our move day entirely stress free. Overall Sigma Removals is a very professional but also a personal enterprise. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Sigma Removals were great for us.. and our move wasn't what you'd call normal, with plenty of weird and fragile items to take care of - but never once did they complain. Chris and his team were extremely friendly and trustable and despite things going into mid evening owing to our long distance relocation they got the job done in impressive fashion. Highly recommend!

Chris, the owner of Sigma Removals, was very helpful when it came to planning the move of my furniture out of storage and into my new home and the removals team did an excellent job. It was as easy and smooth as moving house can be and the removals team kept me updated on arrival time (250 miles from storage to new home) and did a first rate job of unloading and placing in the correct location. Bearing in mind it was raining hard over the removals days everything was dry and there was no damage whatsoever. Friendly, helpful and respectful, I have no hesitation in recommending Sigma Removals.

We were moving from a very large house with lots of furniture and "stuff" to an even bigger house, some distance away. Having had quotes from several companies we contacted Sigma Removals owned and run by Chris Ormsby. He was very friendly and professional taking great care to consider how best to achieve our move. It would take place over several weeks and the new home was some distance away. Chris gave us a very competitive quote which we were happy to accept. Chris turned up precisely on time with his team (who were brilliant) and worked relentlessly to pack and load our valuables into his very clean vans. They would then drive to our new home to unload and worked tirelessly, irrespective of the time, until all was unloaded. Over the weeks there were many van loads but they never failed to impress. I was particularly taken by the fact that Chris appeared on every occasion to organise and work just as hard as the rest of his team. They may not be the biggest removal company in Devon but are certainly one of the very best. We can't recommend them highly enough and would certainly use them again. Chris also has my permission to pass on my phone number to anyone who would like to speak to me in person.

We didn't choose Sigma on price, but on quality. Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with, courteous and good humoured. All our fragiles were carefully packed and four box vans of belongings were loaded and moved into our new home really efficiently. Unfortunately we had a long delay on the day of moving due to slow solicitors in the chain, but the movers were calm and patient. When we finally got the go ahead they got all our belongings unloaded in a little over 2 hours, even with having to move large items to specific rooms. We used Sigma Removals for the house clearance of my mother's house in Torquay. Chris was great in agreeing a date and time for the clearance, which was difficult as I live 100 miles away and the house was unoccupied. They arrived as arranged, reviewed the bulky furniture that needed removing, and carried it out with care - no damage to walls or doors. How they packed the lot into one van is a mystery, but they did saving mum further expense. Altogether an efficient and friendly service, at a reasonable cost. Thank you, Chris!
